Dears,
i have implemented the new note ( 0002105996 ) related to LOC for logistics in middle east and i made the necessary configuration the only thing missing is the number range object, i can not find which number range object to be assigned to the LOC request or even LOC.
regards.
issue closed
it should be another number range object (MENA_EX_NR)
thanks for your support

The OSS note has 4 pdf attachments, and the attachment with the name R3 Configuration.pdf
has even screenshots for each IMG activity. Why do you need the number range object if you can do the customizing via an IMG path?

Isee that you screenshot looks different from the screenshot in the docu in regard to the number.
Do you think it did not take a number because the success message did not show the number?
If a number range is missing then SAP usually dumps while saving.
if it would create a document with a blank entry in the number field, then it would not be possible to add a second document, as you cannot have 2 documents with the same number.
Had you already searched for your LC document?
Do you know the tables that are used? if yes then you could directly check there with SE16.
regarding number range configuration , i made screen shot for the configuration itself not from outside like SAP documentation.
and when i search for my document it did not show any document even with empty number so it did not save to the database
it is only show success message without anything saved over the system
what does the F1 field help tell you for the number range object field?
Maybe you have to define your own number range object like it is described in this wiki: How to Create you own Number Range SNRO - ABAP Development - SCN Wiki
