Notification of work items could not be sent to users as an email

Hi Experts,

We got high priority issue.

Notification of work items related to SAP HR Module could not be sent to users as an email, but they can continue to view their work items on their work list in portal.

Please help me on how to proceed

Have you made a variant for RSWUWFML2  or Extended notification 'transaction SWNCONFIG ?

Workitem are per default sent to the sap inbox and in parallel you can send them to outside email

HI Sree,

Work items are delivered to the user inbox so those items are appearing in backend and portal  UWL as well. coming to the mail notifications SOST configuration is  required.first check in t-code SOST

that particular mails are there are not.
