Advanced DSO - Field is not visible in reporting

Hi

We are currently running SAP BW 7.4 SP10 on HANA.

I am wanting to create a field based ADSO in HANA Studio. 

However, if in the ADSO I create a field of type INT4 or INT8 a warning message is received when activating "Field XXXX is not visible in reporting"

And if I try and view data in the ADSO in RSA1, I do not see that field as an option to view the data.

Does anyone know why I can't use INT4?

Hi Anton,

Please check SAP Note 2185212 for details on reporting on advanced DSO's.  The advanced DSO supports many data types, but not all of them are available for reporting.

As for your question on INT4, if you intend to use this field as a characteristic, this data type is not supported for reporting.  If you would like to have it as a key figure, do not forget to assign an aggregation (like SUM).  Then the field will be considered a key figure and INT4 is supported for reporting.
