Hi All,
When i am deleting BOM line item with Goods movements screen during production order confirmation. following impacts are occuring.
Stock overview MMBE: - Before
Production confirmation BOM component is showing as reserved when I am deleting
BOM line item during production order confirmation & saving. Reservation
gets finished without Goods issue.
Missing Parts List CO24:-
Before Production confirmation BOM component is showing as missing parts in
CO24. When I am deleting BOM line item during production order confirmation
& saving. Missing Part list is not available any more in CO24.
COGI :- When I am deleting
BOM line item during production order confirmation & saving. In COGI component
is not available for Goods Issue anymore.
Requirement:- Deleted BOM
items should be available in COGI, MMBE as well as in CO24 whether COGI allowed or not.
Dear Shiva,
Stock overview MMBE: - Before
Production confirmation BOM component is showing as reserved when I am deleting

The reason is components are reserved to a production order and when you delete the component and confirms the order then the reservation will disappear.
Missing Parts List CO24:-
Before Production confirmation BOM component is showing as missing parts in
CO24. When I am deleting BOM line item during production order confirmation
& saving. Missing Part list is not available any more in CO24.
As the order is confirmed ( by deleting the components) so these components are not required further so it is not appearing in CO24 transaction
COGI :- When I am deleting
BOM line item during production order confirmation & saving. In COGI component
is not available for Goods Issue anymore.
In OPK4 transaction activate goods movement check box and deactivate termination of in correct goods movement and during confirmation if component stock is not available and when you save the order, these components will sit in COGI transaction.
Requirement:- Deleted BOM
items should be available in COGI, MMBE as well as in CO24 whether COGI allowed or not.
Dont delete components when confirm the order.
Hope this will clarify your doubt.

Hi Shiv,
Why do you want to delete BOM in production order and still keep them in reserved stock and pick list ? Don't you think that will create inconsistency. I believe, what you are observing is standard system behavior which removes relevant documents as soon as you delete component from production order.
If you want to track thje changes then you can do it by activating order change management or or else you can restrict users from deleting BOM components by small ehancement as mentioned by Velmurugan in above post.
I am not sure if I understood your requirement correctly but if there is something else then do let us know.
Thanks,
Rohit

Hi Shiv,
Material reservation gets created when you create a order (in your case production order). This means that material is relevant for goods issue and stock movement is pending. The moment you check availability, the same materials gets committed from unrestricted stock. Now if I remove a component from production order, this means I do not need that part in production order processing or in goods issue. Due to this system also deletes reservation that created in background and it gets disappeared from MMBE.
COGI is nothing but a transaction to correct error records from automatic goods movement. If you will delete a component from order, there will not be any error while automatic goods positing and it will not appear in COGI. same is the case with pick list CO24.
Hope its clear.

Rohit
Hello
You can restrict the Goods movement delete by activating the BAdi WORKORDER_GOODSMVT.
So that your all above issue will be resolved and COGI will be created incomplete goods movements due to stock deficit /data incomplete.
