actual number of employees in confirmation not update the cost

As the requirement costing need to calculate the costing for the labors that drive the work center

They want to add the activity type price by labor

The case is the work center has 3 labors and in some time could be 2 labors

According to that I made the below formula in work center costing tab

(SAP_02 * SAP_09 * SAP_17 / SAP_08 )

And assigned it to the work center as below

Activity rate for machine 7 EGB & for labor 5 EGB

So formula calculate right as the formula test

100 Pc per hour and operation will be 200 so need 2 hours from

In routing I said there are 3 employees and 100 for 1 hour for machine and labor

In production order by 500 PC found the formula calculating right

In confirmation I made for 300 PC with 3 labors as below

  • The question is why when I change the number of labors in confirmation the number of hour not updated?
  • And the actual cost calculated for the number of hours not for the number of labor
  • Should I update the number of labors and calculate the need hours out of system to update the confirmation?

Regards

Hello

Changing number of labor never changes Labour hours .You have to enter both hours and labors manually. It both are not interdependent .SAp will just do arithmetical calculation using these 2 values to calculate Cost.

I would suggest number of labour also one of the standard value parameter,so that we can influence the labor hours when it entered.

Hi Velmrugan

thanks for reply but after some tests  i found that cost only affected by number of hours no matter what entered about number of employees

so i have to calculate how actual labor hours by machine hour assume its 1:25 hours by number of employees say 3 labors out of sap (1:25 X 3) = 4:15 hours and enter it in sap it will be waste of time to do it manually

about number of employees as a standard value nice idea but what will be the cost unit ?

  thanks again

Hello,

You can mark number of labor  as no activity in costing view. When you create  labour hours formula you can use the  'number of labor' parameter.
