Data From ECC to PSA

Hi,

I enhanced a data source with 2 fields, wrote customer exit and checked the data in RSA3. I see the enhanced fields getting populated.

But the problem, after replicating this datasource in BW and running infopackage, i see 0 records.

i have attached rsa3 output, job overview.  (enhance fields "characteristic name" and "value desc" in RSA 3 snapshot)

I went through couple of discussion here in forum but could not find solution.

Am I missing something.

Hi Everyone,

Thank's everyone for the support. I had done all the checks suggested by you all before. (Info package filters, idocs, everything).

Issue was with authorization, later we  added SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW.

So we were able to successfully pull the data to BW.

Hi Vinay,

it seams that you have selection in the info package. Remove it and try again...

What kind of info pack you ran at bw side?

is it full load or delta load?

at RSA3 will give the full load output and you might be triggered delta info pack.

if its delta info pack then please check records count at RSA7 and after that you  run the info pack if records exist at RSA7 against your data source.

Whats your data source name?

before enhancement have you take care all previous delta data?

if not then delta might be corrupted due to structural changes.

I see "the corresponding table in the source system does not contain any data". But RSA3 gives me output.

Then double check on system name that you are pointing.
If there is data , then it should work.

RSA3  snapshot is the data output from source system. I see the data. I am guessing it could be some authorization issue.

Hi Vinay,

check if the info package has any filters in data selections tab. And also, is this the first time you are extracting data from this data source to BW ? are you able to pull data from source system to BW for other data sources?

check if you source system has different clients? some may keep data in one client and another client just for development. please check .
