Dear Gurus,
Need to find which UoM is set on base unit of measure under mm03 transaction for some materials so I can fix on Cuni transaction. Is there a walk around to fix that?
regards
Oliver F
If you see the unit as shown in the subject with '***' then use SE16 to display table MARA of that material.
On the initial screen of SE16 choose from menu settings > user parameter and remove the X from "use conversion exit" in the data browser tab.
you will then see the internal unit instead of the language specific unit.
Maybe you will then immediately know for which unit you have to maintain the translation.
Otherwise do SE16 for table T006 and find the dimension for this internal unit which makes it easier to locate it in CUNI transaction

If there is the inch sign then you should find the record in T006 table too, except someone deleted it from customizing after it was used. But for this event you can double check the change history in your development client.
It is a bit tricky to use the selection screen for the T006 table, since it expects of course the unit that is presented to the user and not the internal unit.
So just make sure that the number of records shown in SE16 is high enough to include all records that you have and then execute the selection screen without making any entry.
In the result you can then search using the Ctrl+F
Hi, for me it seems, that someone did hard changes in MARA-MEINS with ABAP in the past.
To correct these values you need ABAP-code like this:
tables: mara.
select single for update * from mara
where matnr eq '000000000000000315'
and meins eq '***'.
if sy-subrc eq 0.
mara-meins = 'KG'. "<- SET MEINS to appropriate value
update mara.
endif.

Hi,
I am not sure what you want to fix on Cuni transaction?
If you have some materials- you can get UoM in t.code: MM60 directly for all your some materials.

You can look into MARA table .

MM03 is a display transaction which doesn't allow you to make any modification
CUNI transaction helps you to create a new UoM
CUNI & MM03 are having separate uses / functionality
suppose you create a UoM using CUNI and you want to update the same in material master then you need to use MM02 provided your business allows for that and you have the authorization
