Does BI 4.1 platform run on 4.000 SAPS server?

The minimal hardware requirement for the BI 4.1 platform is 8.000 SAPS. I have to install BI 4.1 for developing and system testing purpose with minimal load. I wonder if it will run on a server with 4000SAPS capacity? Does somebody have experience with running BI 4.1 on a 4.000 SAPS server?

you probably could make it run on such small machine, but it will be very very very slow and frustrating to use...
