Wf not triggering in SWEL

Dear All,

Greetings for the day!!

i had a small doubt regarding my workflow in Sap EHS.

i had created a zbusiness object from the standard one but it is not getting triggered when i run the scenario and check in SWEL.

I opened SWELS and switched on trace but it is not getting triggered.

So everything is done need a reason why it is not triggering and i am not able to debug the popup were the messaged is populated to trigger my workflow.

Requirement: Requirement is i need to trigger a mail notification if an report is created from CG02.

i had created a function module and zbusiness object and integrated in WF but it is not getting triggered.

Can anyone help me on the same. if anyone had done this requirement please explain me in detail.

Why you are delegated the BO ? are you using any event / method from standard BO ?

i had created a function module and zbusiness object and integrated in WF

How you integrated the report and Workflow ( Did you configure event linkage ) ?

How you triggering workflow , through FM ?

HI ,

i created one function module from which i had bought my approveres.

then created a zBusiness object and linked with my function module. now in workflow i called my zbusiness object method and created activity and send mail.

in header level i used draw which is standard business object subtype also created with draw only.

problem is in my wf is not triggering when i run my scenario.

checked in swels draw and ydraw bo are triggering but my bo is not getting triggered .

and can u tell how to do linkage and any further things i need to fullfill my requirement.

HI Akula,

If you want to trigger any workflow then linkage should be there.

Triggering the workflow through event.

any events are there in your business object?

check that event is triggering or not in event trace

Then check the linkage is activated between workflow and event if not set the linkage  in t-code SWETYPV

Your Z business object is a sub object of a standard one ?

Have you made the delegation ?

What is your event ? How do you trigger it ?

I am affraid that you need to provide a little more information for us to help ...

HI ,

ya its standard one name is DRAW i maid it subtype

not delegated. event is when data is changed in cg02 and re release report than mail should trigger to the particular person.

Please tell me in detail such that i fullfill my requirement.

So which event are you using ? Changed ? Created ? MarkupSaved ? DMS_OBJECT_LINK_CHK ?

And are you sure that your event is triggered from that transaction ?

I think that you shall make a delegation because otherwise, and in your workflow  you shall use the standard object DRAW.
