Error starting 'C:\...\' rc=2

Hi there,

I am getting reports from some clients that they cannot access the SAP single sign on link from our intranet.

When they click on the link, instead of SAPgui opening, IE11 pops up with a yellow bar at the bottom of the page asking if the client wants to "open or save". (SEE SCREENSHOT 1)

If they click open, it seems that .sap files are not associated with SAP. So if that is changed so that it is associated, the following error will appear in SAP when the file is opened:

Error starting 'C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\NBLYOJEN\' (rc=2)

This only seems to be an issue for some clients, and they can still access SAPgui by logging in manually.

Any help on how to amend this will be greatly appreciated.
