Status Changes in CRMBS02 are not reflecting in ITSM

Hello SAP Experts,

We wanted to add a new status type "CR in Progress" for Incidents in ITSM.

Steps performed

A.      Went to Tr’x CRMBS02.

B.      Selected profile SMIN0001 (It is the status profile being used for incident).

C.      Created a new status Type "CRIP" with description "CR in Progress" (Please see the attached screenshot CRIP_Status_Added.jpg).

D.      Its’ getting reflected in Incident Search Page (Please see the attached screenshot Incident_Search.jpg)

E.       But its’ not reflecting inside the ticket, (Please see attached screenshot Incident_Edit.jpg) As per business requirement ”CR in Progress” should be reflected in status while editing/updating the Incident Status.

Kindly we want "CR is progress" Status should be reflected while Editing/Updating a CR. Please help us with feasible solution for this.

    Change the In process status which is at number 20,

    Set the highest number to 57 or higher.

    You are changing SMIN, its not recommended though.

    Your issue will be resolved.
