Trying to set up activate the instance, it was issued a message it will take approximately 50 mins....it crossed more than 2 hours still not connected.  Could you advise

Hello MP,

Please try to connect to the solution instance via SSH. If you login successfully look for the warning message below:

WARNING

========

SAP Appliance configuration currently in process. Please do not modify anything.

This message changes back to the default after the configuration is finished.

This message indicates that the initial configuration has not finished. Close your SSH session and login again after 15 minutes.

If you can’t connect to the instance although you can login via SSH and do not get the warning message above then most probably you have come on a glitch in the initial configuration process. In this situation I'd recommend to terminate the instance and to create a new one.

did you check the status of your instances in AWS? you may have to restart the launch if your request got stuck somewhere along the way between CAL and AWS.
