SAP DESIGN STUDIO: How to vary size of tabs when using tabstrips.

Hello ,

I am new to design studio and I am trying to figure out how to visually adapt tabstrips depending on content.

The situation is that I have 3 tabs in a tab-strips, tab 1, tab 2 , tab 3. The content of each tabs will vary since the display individual queries in all of them will depend on user input. However in general, tab1 displays a rather  small query while tab 2 and 3 displays much bigger queries. My goal here is to have each tab adapt to each query like it is possible to do using WAD. I.E, the width of tab1 should adjust to the size of its query, same for tab 2 and so on. Right now, I have statically set the width and height of the tabstrip to the maximum possible (based on tab 2 since it has the largest query). So when displayed, tab 1 is a rather small query in a very large tabstrip. Is there a way to dynamically adapt the size of the tabstrips based on contents of individual tabs? I have tried to use inspector to find a way to play with this though CSS but in vain.

Can anybody help? thanks.

John,

It sounds like you want a responsive design; this currently is not supported in Design Studio - it is in the "planned innovations" after 1.6 - see the roadmap here: https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000390622012D.pdf (SMP logon required)
