Hi Experts,

how can I get a P&L with external codes?

Hi Vaggelis,

You need to assign external codes on your P&L accounts and then need to run P&L with selection of external codes.

Report will only give of accounts having External codes assigned and other accounts which have not assigned external code will not display.

Hi Vaggelis,

you need to first assigned external codes for G/L accounts as I have shown below:

• External Code – External codes defined for G/L accounts in  Financials -->Chart of Accounts --> External Code

When you run P&L you need to select External code on P&L selection criteria.

Note: when you select external code on P&L selection criteria, Report will only display G/L accounts for which external codes is assigned and it will not display P&L of G/L accounts for which external codes is not assigned.

Can you elaborate more please. What blank description you getting ? Is there any transaction posted with that external code G/L account ?

Hi Harshal,

I mean that if a P&L Account do not have External Code this will be also displayed. As it has no External Code is printed the value with description (this I do mean blank)
