Field Sold-To-Party is mandatory in ERP Quotation Screen

Hi Everyone,

     We have migrated our System to SAP HANA and upgrated to CRM 7.0 EHP3 from CRM 7.0. After upgradation, when we try to create ERP Quotation as follow up of Opportunity, System is throwing "Field Sold-to-Party is mandatory" message. We have  checked the  mapping(ECC and CRM) configuration. Please suggest me how I can resolve this issue.

Hi Priyanka,

1. Have you upgraded to CRM 7.0 EHP3 only your production server ? or your quality or testing server also? If you would have upgraded your quality or testing server to EHP3, then please check if it is the same behavior in your quality or test server ?

In this case also check your PATCH level with the help of basis team and see if the latest patch is also applied while doing the upgrade to EHP3.

2. Usually, the field SOLD-TO is mandatory by default in such scenario, as in ERP to create quotation or order entering sold-to is mandatory.

3. Also other way could be to see if the required authorization is applicable for the login id from where you are creating Quotation from opportunity.  Take a trace while performing the steps.

  Thanks for the reply.

1. We have migrated Quality and Development Systems also. In these system also we are facing the same issue.Checked with basis team. Latest patch is also applied.

2. System displays " No mapping exists for ECC and CRM Business partner" information message and " Field Sold-to-party is mandatory " error message. But mapping configuration exist.

3. It is not working with all the users. Though SAPALL access is provided, it is not solved.

Please suggest me what else I need to check in the system to resolve the issue.

Hi Priyanka,

One way is to delete the configuration entry for mapping configuration and RECREATE the same again in a new transport request and check.
