MD ATTR Meta Chain is getting failed in the production.

Hi Team,

I've one of the Master data Meta Chain which was in production, getting failed due to Save Hierarchy Process Type . When I selected Right click on the process Type and choose the Process Monitor, at the info package monitor all the records are loaded &  both Technical/Total Status is showing green, but under details tab, overall status is showing Red.

At the process Chain log:- No Hierarchy found for selection criteria error is showing.

For Reference screenshots are attached.

Please assist me on this Issue.

Hi Sriram,

I suppose the issue is because of the below mentioned,

Could you Go to the Hierarchy maintenance  Screen of Org Unit and it should be in M Version, Activate that

And Try to run your PC again .

Also check in the step Save Hierarchy Variant How many Hierarchies are defined.

from above screen shot, can you click on yellow icon at extreme right side and share long text error message.

At info pack level have you used any selections to load hierarchy data?

Any changes recently applied on this data flow?

At what step its failing?

Can you check more logs from SM37?

Hi Sriram,

I have couple of Questions

1. Is your system upgraded recently?

2. Which step follows the ipak Step in the process chain ?

3. Is the Ipak Selected with the specific hierarchy it need to run/ or is running for the entire selection

Thanks a lot for your reply,

1. SAP was implemented recently only here.

2. After Data load process, save hierarchy was placed Vivek, and it is in production since from last year.

3. Info package load is specified for Specific hierarchy only.

Hi Sriram,

So In your process chain the load data (Ipak Step) is the failed one right or is it successful and the save org hierarchy fails

Hi Sriram,

What it says is that the total status of the process chain is Red and the info package step is successful.

Can you go to the process chain Log and send the screenshot of the process chain
