Replaceable parameters for Messages

I cannot seem to find a replaceable parameter for Shop Order that I can call in a Message.  It works for Next Number Maint. but is not available for messages?  Am I missing something?

Hi PJ,

There might be some "non-documented" parameters. To unveil them, generate a massage with %.ALL.% first - this will show you all available parameters. If you see a shop order ID among them, try to use it explicitly as a replaceable parameter in Message Type Maintenance.

I am trying to call the Shop Order Number as a parameter in a Message - it looks as though this is a valid parameter only for use in Next Number Maintenance and is not available for Messages.

If you tried %.ALL.% but have not found any field that keeps Shop Order ID, then such data is not available in that context indeed.

Thank you for responding - I had seen that screen, I was confused as to why some parameters are available for one function but not another....

Yes it is slightly confusing I agree.  However as Sergiy has pointed out, there are some parameters available for Next Number while not for Message Board.  Not ideal but is the way this has worked since Event's.
