How do I create a characteristic restriction for 0InfoProv in BEX query?

I'm trying to create a new query in my quality environment and would like to use the feature of a query in production, that restricts 0InfoProv.

How do I add 0InfoProv since it does not appear in the list of key figures or dimensions?

thanks!

Hi,

0infoprov will be available either on Multi provider or on Info set

in the query designer -->dimensions-->data package-->you will find 0infoprov here.

Wow!  Thanks, sometimes it's right under your nose and you can't find it.

Thanks for quick response.

Hi Ken

I just checked and was wondering what is happening. There is no 0INFOPROV in my multi-providers or infoset, but query designer has it under data package dimension as mentioned b y Jyothi

The reason that its not available in multi-provider might be because your underlying infoproviders will never have that infoobject and so you cannot select them.

But when you use a MP to create a query, it automatically holds 0INFOPROV in your datapackage dimension

Thanks, I learnt something new
