And we are migrating in phase wise approach only not bing bang approach.so please can you let me know the answer to following question:

1.How to send proxy data from ecc to both the PI and PO system.
I saw the below link but not able to understand much, can anyone please help me with step by step approach please:

2.Both my PI and PO will be able to send proxy data to ecc,Or some additional settings are required?

Thanks

Naveen

Hello Raghuraman,

Thanks for your response i understand that when we have to send data to 2 PI systems from 1 ecc system,we need to do following:

1.In SM59 create 2 RFC destination one to existing PI and other to PO.

2. Create the Sender/receiving ID Transaction SXMSIF

3.Define the routing rule transaction SXMB_ADM > Integration Engine Configuration.

Do let me know if my understanding is correct?

And secondly i also wanted to know ,do i need to any setting for sending the data to ecc from PO.

Thanks

Hi Naveen,

What you have jotted down is correct, however do ensure you also change your SLDAPICUST settings to point to new PO system and also run the function LCR_CLEAR_CACHE to clear old system SLD cache. This is required for the runtime to successfully run scenarios that are in the new PO ESR.

From PO 7.4 to ECC proxy, you will have to use SOAP adapter with XI 3.0 protocol. In this channel, you need to provide a HTTP destination created in NWA pointing to ECC .You can use the same parameters in this NWA destination like the destination in your dual stack PI.

Hello Naveen,

yes correct.

As Naveen suggested check SLDAPICUST also.

And in PO system you need to configure Soap channel with XI 3.0 protocol.

Let us know if you face any issue.
