BI 4.1 webi report based on BEx query hierarchy issue

Hi all,

I have a webi report based on Bex query, in bex query there are 3 mandatory variable and 1 optional. Into the report I build a query and then I select one hierarchy,I select all members, and one measure. The report works but it for the hierarchy it shows all node of the structure also the node that are defined as Hide always into the query bex.

For example:

Bex hierarchy:

Node 1 visible

node 2 visible

node 3 hide

Webi report shows all 3 nodes and not only the node 1 and 2. Why?

Hi,

I check the BW hierarchy and I see that:

Node AAA: visible

Node BBB: always hide

     Node BBB1 visible

      Node BB2 visible

Node CCC visible

Node DDD always hide.

In the webi report the hierarchy shows the nodes:

AAA

BBB

BB1

BB2

CCC

node DDD is missing as I want.

The problem may be the visibility of the leaf bb1 and bb2?

I confirm in BI 4.1 SP 5 if a root is hidden and the leaf no in the webi report I can see the leaf, in BO4.0 this doesn't happen.

check the ID's of node values in BW.if id's are same then might be the case you are getting all values.

Check this sap note.

Hi,

Have you tried to selecting the  levels from Hierarchy object in the webi query level.
