Half day leave calculation in CATS

Hello,

I have a scenerion where Total target hours as per work schedule is 8.25 hours daily.

And if employee apply for half day leave the total hour claculated by system is 4.13 hours.

Now if employee apply for Leave in one go for. eg. Morning and Afternoon then system calculates it correctly as 8.25.

But if he applies and create two records for the same day then system throws an error as 4.13 + 4.13 becomes 8.26 which is incorrect.

what could be the solution if we do not want to change the total Target hours from 8.25 to 8.26.

What your expecting? when you record absence in CATS then the absence hours  is coming around 4.13 but it should be 4 hours? am i correct? if so, you can use 'daily work schdule varient for absence' V_550X_B.

here you dont need to change your actual working time 8.25. but you can create a varient for 8 hrs and this will be called when your recording absence. so according to that varient when you record half day absence, it will be count 4 hrs.
