Wrong Client window Id

Hi,

We have Upgraded our portal from 7.31 to 7.4 and Backend from EHp6 to EHp7.

In the manager Self service ,after choosing an employee and when we click the  activity to perform an action on behalf of Employee we get the below pop up window. upon the clicking OK it then loads the application. I noticed it happens for the ABAP webdynpro and Java webdynpro Applications.

I tried removing the favorites and typing manually the portal address and it didnt help as suggested in few discussions.

Can any one help me?

chk once in st22 and try to launch the same application from se80 ....we have only abap webdynpro and java applications for portal ...make sure ur portal is connected to correct client for which ur testing this, and check in portal trace in portal with help of ur poral consultant

Thanks Jwala. The issue was after the upgrade in home Page config   --> in Resources if you have the URL of PCD Page with EX or EY and the also if you have Window Name properties as _Blank. Then this error occurs. The solution to this is to remove the _blank from Window Name.
