Lock & unlock a specific material master field (marc-beskz)

Hi all,

Anyone please can advice on how to unlock the marc-beskz field (in this case) due to when I go via MM02 or even via MM01 and change/create a ROH material I got immediately in this field a "F" and the field is "greyed", so I can't change it or create it with a "X" or even "E".

Please your help will be appreciate.

It is defaulted and restricted based on the customizing of material type (OMS2 transaction)

Thanks so much by quick reply.

I went via OMS2 and followed by Reference Group and I got this info (attached pic) but I couldn't find out the way to change this settings or how to put in able mode this field (even when I got into OMS9 tx code since OMS2).

Do you mind to provide a little bit more of detail?

Your screen is not OMS2, If I say OMS2 then I mean OMS2

Based on the settings made in the yellow section of the picture you control the default and whether it is logical that the field can be changed or not.
