OO Class Diagrams

I'm doing some modeling using Object-Oriented Class Diagrams. The first OO Class Diagram I created uses the correct symbology for Associations, Aggregations, and Compositions.  Every Class Diagram I have created since that first one uses incorrect symbology; it looks more like Barker notation for Conceptual Data Models rather than OO Class Diagram notation.  I attached two files to depict the problem.  The "Correct.JPG" file shows the symbology on my original Class Diagram.  The "Incorrect.JPG" shows the symbology on subsequent class diagrams.  In this example, I literally a cut and pasted the graphics from the original Class diagram to a new Class diagram.  Is there a way to fix this problem?

Hi Bruce,

Could you put an OOM sample file here?

We need understand why this happened.

Meanwhile, you can open the problematic model, then go to Tools->Generate Object-Oriented Model

Generate a new oom. Do you still get the issue?

I attached the "Sample Class Diagram.oom" file as requested.  This posting tool didn't allow me to attach the .oom file,  so you will need to remove the .jpg from the end before attempting to use it.

I also added a snippet of the way this Class Diagram is displayed for me.

I then used this model to "Generate Object-Oriented Model..." as you suggested above.  The new model has the same problem.

This is what I did.

Open the model, go to Tools->Display Preferences. Click Association under General Settings

Uncheck Multiplicity symbol. Click OK.

Recreate associations.

I'll work with engineering to find if this is a bug.

Your suggestion is working for me.  Thanks for the quick turnaround on this question.  I attempted to compare settings between the one model that displayed properly and the others that didn't, but I apparently missed that one.

Thanks for pursuing this as a possible bug because it doesn't make sense the setting would be selected when you create a second/third/fourth/etc Class Diagram if the setting is causing the symbology to be displayed incorrectly for that model type.  I'll be looking forward to your disposition.
