Dear Experts,
We've implemented positive Time Management and based on the Employee's In time & Out time OT is calculated from customized schema.
Now we want to introduce OT approval gate where Employee request OT and Supervisor has to approves it before calculation OT.
What would be the best solution in achieving this without ESS/MSS?

You can achive this via CATS implementaion in the backend system and you can do the workaround to update the intime/outtime from time recording terminal to CATS.
Once the time sheet relased for the approval, The recorded hours will go to the approval / rejection. (T-code-CATS_APPR_LITE) After the approval, you can transfer this hours to IT2002 or IT2010.(T-Code- CAT6)

Could there be another alternative using processes and forms as below?
a)an employee (or contractor) enters times including, time in, time out, assignment details (WBS, etc.); this can include requests for time off and OT; submits the times for a day or for a period. This kicks off workflow to times approver
d)manager or supervisor approves. This kicks off creation of the relevant infotypes - 2001, 2002, etc.
The relevant infotypes would be processed in time eval & payroll.
