Business Configuration Object - Code List Data Type

Dear experts,

which is the difference of creating a Business Configuration Object, at 1/3 step of the wizard, with or without enable the check box of the Code List Data Type ? I see that the behaviour of next steps, also for Business Configuration Set is the same.

Hello Gabriele,

The entity "Code List Data Type" creates very easy and quick a simple code list.

The BCO provides more functionality like dependency and configuration in the BC.

So, if you simply want a fixed code list use the entity "Code List Data Type".

If you need to configure the codes you should chose the BCO.
