GRC 10/10.1 HR Triggers terminations + position based roles

Hi there,

I am not sure if anyone has any concrete material on the following?

I have been through a lot of the other post but have not seen my answers anywhere.

I need to know the following with regards to HR triggers:

1. I want the termination request to be created and closed automatically. An approval is not necessary.


2. When a termination occurs, can we lock the user/set valid to dates or remove the underlining authorisations automatically?


If this is possible, where would we set this up?

3. Can I default roles into the request from the position in the HR Org? If I do not maintain the roles in HR org but create Business Roles in BRM, can I default Business Roles into the request based on the user's position in the HR org structure?

If this is possible where/how would  we set this up?

    Hello,

    I can answer the first and second question. Not sure whether the third question can be achieved (need to check myself first).

    1) Yes this is possible - route the request to an empty path (=auto approval).

    2) Lock and change validity date is possible. Role removals are not possible within standard. As a workaround you can use a custom program that removes roles for locked/expired users automatically. I have done several projects where we achieved that with the help of a custom program that removes system/role assignments when a user gets locked/expired.
