Reasignment of Maintenance orders to new Status profile

Hi

I created a new Status profile and I wonder if existing Maintenance orders can be reassigned to use the new profile. If possible please tell me how.

Hello Daniel,

There is a function module STATUS_PROFILE_CHANGE for this purpose. I never worked on this. But when I am just testing it, it is understood that, under certain conditions this must be changing the Status Profile. May be your Orders are in a condition to get the change. Consult your ABAPer and try this fm for one Order through SE37. (When testing through SE37 use fm BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT in sequence. Your ABAPer knows it).

I have used the the function module described above without any major issues. From memory the old status values are not deleted from JEST/JCDS so may cause issues with some of your bespoke programs -> but you'd need to verify this..

Thank you for the very helpful answer. After configuring the PM90 orders to the new profile I see the previous and the new one above the other. Would you please guide me step by step through this?

Hi Daniel,

I hope you are asking about User Status Profile. I dont think this is possible in standard SAP. Since the profile field will be greyed out.

You need to create new orders.
