No data in Setup table - purchasing

Hello Everybody,

I tried to fill set up table for Purchasing, the job is executed successfully, but there are no data in Setup table.

Can any one of you throw your thoughts on this.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Hi dear,

first of all, you have to inform us about WHICH setup table are you seeing as empty !

Since setup job is only one, but related setup tables are several and you can fill them only if you have the extract structure active in LBWE (green traffic-light).

So, please check this and let us know !

Hi guys,

Datasources for purchasing are all active.

Data are tehere in EKKO,EKPO,EKET etc..

I ran the concerned menu to fill the setup table for purchsing. But All the setup tables relevant for purchasing is not having any data, hence extractor checker is aslo giving 0 records.

Also checked the OSS notes 712898 and 720309.

but not useful for our problem.

we are in 4.6C in R/3 and 3.5 in BW.

I guess it might be related to some settings in r/3.

First of all, type directly OLI3BW as transaction code and then run the setup from there...

No look in SM37 to see your details job (and run-time duration...)

I did all that. When I saw in SM37, the job was successful, it took only 1 sec to complete it.

I am wondering whats happening to setup

Select your job in SM37, then press CTRLShiftF11 and let me know details job (Job started...)

Hi All,

Problem got solved. Our r/3 system was patches behind, we applied OSS notes 720309.

Now we are able to fill set-up of purchasing.

Hi Jayasudha,

We are also facing the same problem. When we tried to apply note 720309, there are lots of notes related to it. Actually the SAP_APPL supp pack is 42. Should we apply all the notes, that come as pre-requisite for 720309.

Hello jaysudha,

Either the base tables may not have data as pointed out earlier or you must have given some filters(selections)during the setup run which may not have any records fulfilling the selections!!

Please recheck. Did u check in RSA3?

Hi,

First check whether you got any data in the relevant base tables for purchasing (eg EKKO, EKPO etc) .

If not you are not able to find any records try to create a sample entry by using me21n.

Once you have done some postings you may find some entries in the corresponding base tables.

Now try to check the data in extract checker rea3.
