Issue in QGA4

HI All,

I am currently using the QGA4 report.

I select inspection lot w/o defect in selection options.

I gave the material,plant and lot origin as "03".

I selected charactersitcs option in select option.

Then in create option-->table--->characteristics table.

In the output,I see only certain characteristic values for certain lots.Rest lots are not getting displayed.

In "QMAR" table all lots are getting displayed.Please explain this behavior of this system.

I just simulated QGA4. It matched for the total number of lots that reflect in QALS for the given period. Exactly the same number of lots reflected in QGA4. Even it (QGA4) reflected the lots without UDs also. The only condition is the results should have been recorded (up to status 5).

In your case thus possibly QAMR and QGA4 may not match if the status of MICs in inspection lot is not set up to 5. But the number of inspection lots should match. I would suggest to recheck the inputs given.

Are all the UD's made for all you 03 lots?  A lot of people don't run the 03 UD batch job to UD 03 lots.  Statistics are updated at the time of UD.  So I don't believe QGA4 will report any 03 data where the lot wasn't UD'd.  In addition, the characteristics need to have a status of 5 (closed) as well.
