Free up space database content server

Former Member

Hi

Is there anyone who knows what to do with the following situation:

I have a content server that only has 8 GB left. Minimum requirement is 10 GB.

There are 2 folders that are rather large:

* Backup folder (241.3 GB), which is filled with .Z-files

* sapdb folder (41.7 GB)

Now how do I free up space to get at least 10GB of free space?

Thanks in advance!

PS: temp-files are already deleted

Hello Thomas,

.Z files are most probably compressed backup files.

And the folders starting with ber* are backup folders.

You can move or delete the oldest one. That will give you 50 GB space.

Check backup logs of the system. And check backup strategy.
