Purchase Requisition generated by PR plan with MRP and unable to track the creator

Dear Experts,

I see that a purchase requisition has been created automatically by the system with MRP Purchase plan and when i go to ME53N to check the creator i observe the following things:

1.) A name appear as Spares Mech in the field of 'Created by' and when i check the system for a user with the name Spares Mech there is no user with that name in the system presently and in the deleted users list.

2.)I see that the material group has description Spares Mech and the same is appearing in Created by.what sort of problem is this?

3.)I have checked the previous post on a similar topic and researched all the suggestions there but it did not help.

My main concern is who created the PR Plan and with what User and date?

Based on PR creation date, execute standard report RMMDMONI which will give MRP run history details(Who executed MRP on which date)

What do you see in EBAN-ENAM? That should you tell you the creator.

I tried EBAN-ENAM the user name is Spares mech whereas there is no user with such name in the whole system in the present user list and deleted user list from SUIM.

The material group description is Spares Mech kindly check the attached file in post for a screenshot to get a better idea of the scenario.

Copy the name from EBAN-ENAM and search it in SU01D with the first/last name. (ERNAM is not the user id; only name combination).

Unlikely that the user is not available there.

Also, don't know what or how are you trying to relate the material group discussion in this. Its another thing that they have same names 🙂

For purchase requisitions created by MRP the field ERNAM is not an user but the MRP controller assigned to the material.

It is clear from the screenshot that the purchase requisition was created by the MRP run, therefore, the user who created it is the one who executed MRP.

I don't know if it makes any sense to find the user who created this requisition.

MRP is generally scheduled to be executed in background and the user who executes it is a batch user. Nevertheless, you can check on transaction SM37 for jobs executed for program RMMRP000 and check which user is running them.

If MRP was executed manually on MD03, for example, I don't think you will be able to find the exact user who ran it.

That need to find out user id from which MRP has been run because PR is the output of MRP run and in PR you can not be able to find out the created by..

Basically you need to find user id who has run MRP and obviously you have given this tcode to limited users only. So use STAD to analysis the tcode by user id.
