Error while logging into SAP BPC web

Dear Experts,

I have installed Microsoft version for SAP BPC 10.0. After installations when i am trying to login to http:\\<>:8000\SAP\BPC\WEB, the windows credentials are being asked for 3 times then the below error occurs. I am entering the credentials of sysAdmin.

"The server responded with a 401 http status code. Please refresh the client to continue".

I am able to login to BPC Administration Client successfully.

I am attaching sample screenshots. Please guide.

401 it's standard http authentication error message so your browser is most likely not authenticating against IIS.

It sounds like your server is configured to run on port 8000 but the URL you have posted here is not using the standard URL formatting as you have back slashsd instead of forward slashes.

Try to connect to http://localhost:8000/SAP/BPC and http://localhost:8000/SAP/BPC/WEB by launching the browser right on the server.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your inputs.But slash is my typo error here. I am providing correct URL on the browser and till SAP/BPC the same id password is properly taken showing me the list of directories.  As soon as I give /sap/bpc/web the flash pops up loads almost the end then the windows authentication pops up suddenly.Providing the same password it dont work then the mentioned error comes.
