Different exchange rates picking up in components of Component Structure

Hi,

Exchange rate maintained for PLN\USD for 10/01/2015 is 0.27 in TCURR table.

However in the standard cost estimate for one of the cost component the rate getting picked up is 0.27 and for another component it is 0.305.

Any advise why the components are picking up different exchange rates.

I checked the TCURR table and it has rate 0.27 maintained for 10/01/2015 and 0.305 for previous year. So, wondering why is one component picking up current rate i.e. 0.27 and other picks up previous year rate i.e. 0.305.

Please advise.

Hi,

for some item categories the prices are already available in the requested currencies and therefore costing will not do a currency conversion.

Usually these are internal activities with prices in both CO area currency and company code currency.

Please check the values in both currencies of internal activities in the cost estimate - I guess that they do not match the expected exchange rate, but the rate according to fiscal year settings of the  CO version.
