Hi
I have an example where I have a demand order and supply order. If the supply date is before the demand requirement date there is no problem. MRP runs and does not create a requisition or planned order which is what I expect. See screenshot below after I have ran MRP.
Now if I change the supply date to finish after 11.11.2015 in the above example e.g. 31.12.2015 and run MRP again it creates me a requisition or planned order depending on the MRP settings.
I was hoping to see an exception message on the supply order to ask to pull it forward in order to hit the demand date as opposed to making or buying a new one.
I also validated my rescheduling configuration via OMDW and my rescheduling horizon is set at 365 days. I went through note 1745312

Adeel
Hi Adeel
Dependent reservations are not included on the rescheduling check by default.
Try to implement the modification note 203151 and test again.
