Complex SLT Configuration in HANA

Hi Experts,

We got a project to implement SLT for our HANA SPS09, but issue is We got 3 Source systems(3 ECC systems) to be connected with standalone SLT from there it has to connect with HANA system.

But question is can we have single standalone SLT for 3 dev, 3 Qua, & 3 Prd Source systems to connect with hana systems.

Please suggest either we have to go with separate standalone for all 3 sources or single is stand alone system for each environment.

If it is possible can someone please explain me the procedure.

I would appreciate if someone provide some documents for it.

Note: All three ECC systems are on different EHP's but on same kernel & patch levels.

After configuration I have doubt, If we have same tables in all 3 source systems will they overlap in target system or it will store on different schemas.

How can i manage them.

Pleas spill the beans on it.

Thank you

Hi Naveen,

You can replicate 3 source systems to an HANA system though a SLT server. Each configuration creates a schema in HANA system and there will not be any issues in replicating same tables.

Thanks

Hi Naveen,

You probably can have a single SLT for your DEV and QUAL systems (3+3). You just have to take care of the number of processes for each connection (consistent with the number of processes of the SLT server).

For the producton system, you certainly should have a separate system to avoid imparing the production replications when replicating your dev or qual system).

Each connection will have his own schema. There will be no overlap.
