BPC Excel macro settings

Hi all,

I was wondering if you ALL have the following excel macro setting defined : "Enable all macros...".

If it is not the case, what do you have and how did you workaround it (to execute sap internal macros as Refresh or vba code macros) ? It is just that after a long search and after asking this question to some consultants, it seems that it is always this option that is selected.

So it would be kind to share some experiences.

Thanks a lot.

BR,

Steve.

Hi Steve,

We save the Input Templates or Reports as Macro Enabled workbook and in VBA, we have checked FPMXLClient references to work with Macros.

Hi Steve,

We are using digitally signed macros (with selfsigned certificate) for 5 years. Single digital signature with private key was made available for the limited number of developers. Same certificate but without private key was distributed using AD policy to root certificates and trusted developers certificates storage.

Another option is to use trusted location on the network - but we newer tested it!
