Hi Gurus,
I am facing problem in SAP Adobe form for PO.
Scenario is that I have header and item details in the output. Instead of using the table option in adobe I have achieved the same using Sub-forms. Now for a particular scenario, the sub-form which is behaving like a table is printing the contents on the second page and not on the first page. This only happens if data is short enough to fit on entire page (Coming at page no 2) but long enough not to get printed on first page(first page contains other details also). For all other cases it is working fine. I have made the sub-forms as flowed, Checked Allowed page break options etc.
Need the help urgently.
Hello Abhishek,
For such a situation, unfortunately the only option is to convert the table using sub forms into table using Table object. Don't worry. The Table object also gives you the flexibility offering additional advantages.
Adobe recommends the use of Table object over sub forms since there are many other advantages of Table objects over Tables using sub forms.
Some other advantages of using Table object over sub forms.
1) No need to handle dynamic Vertical borders in case of Table object.
2) No misplacing of column positions or page breaks if single row content exceeds above 1 page.
3) JavaScript can be applied on individual columns if needed.
Note: Before making the changes, take the back up of the form. then do the changes in the copy form. I think it should not take much time but really depends on the complexity of the Table layout.
