Reference Inspection Plan

Hi dear experts,

For all good receipts performed in division, there is a light inspection done to check if quantity ordered corresponds to quantity received. It means, we check if we have the right quantity, the exact color, not damaged, and so on.

we'd like to have a reference inspection plan that could be assigned to all materials by one transaction. ANd for any new product coming from the PLM (engineering and product lifecyce mgt) we'll assign this reference inspection plan.

Hi Patrick,

I believe you should have tried QP02 to assign materials to inspection plan, using the Material Assignment tab. Is that not helping you? Are you experiencing any error messages?

Thanks for your answer.

I tried this solution and it's fine. However let's say we have a reference inspection plan X1 and product A is assigned to it.

After new product B creation, I have to go in QP02 for product A, using the Material assignment tab before assingning the product B.

Can we have a more direct way to do this ? I mean by selecting the inspection plan and assign the product directly

Although I didn't follow you correctly, I guess you have the difficultly in putting material code as input in QP02. You can input the group number instead of material A when you go to QP02. Would that minimize the efforts?
