No ATP during order creation

Hi Experts,

There is one scenario, where  during order creation, Material must not confirm ( No ATP )  during Sales order creation i.e. VA01. but during order change ATP must work. is there any user exit on this or any SAP configuration for this.  Would you kindly provide any inputs on this.

Hi Srinivas,

Check SAP KBA 1644443. You can use the mentioned user-exit to influence ATP check as per your logic. Please test thoroughly is you use the same.

1644443 - Documentation on User-Exits in the area of the availability check.

Another thought - you can use different schedule line category to influence this example CP is with availability check and CN is without. While creation give CN as default and when it has to be changed then user need to put CP. See whether this suits your requirement.
