MF50 Planned order VS MRP type X0

Hi Friends,

In our Project, APO is planning all materials and sending Planned orders/Production orders (Since SNP/PPDS are there).

So one user complaining that a Planned order basic dates goes wrong.

Query is whether MF50 Planning table can create Planned orders in spite of MRP type X0??

If so, Materials is having any Floats (SMK is 000), In-house production time is zero, bu system is taking Start date and end date gap is 3 days.

Please let me know whether planning table MF50 will it consider Lead time scheduling (Routing data).

I have not worked on MF50 much, please let me know.

thanks

Nag

Hello,

Please check the setting of OSP1 Start: current date+

The basic dates of the planned order are calculated based on the production end date specified in Transaction MF50.

The basic dates are determined backwards with regard to the in-house production time of the material from the material master

Please refer OSS note 397566 - R/3->APO: Date shift with planned order

Hi Brahmankar,

Thanks for quick response, but APO team is saying that these planned orders are not handled in APO, which we are referring to MF50.

My query is if Material is MRP type X0, will MF50 create Planned order by any chance...?

There is no inhouse production time maintained in Material master, user says there is enough capacity on 30.10.15 and he expects start and end dates on same day as other materials do not have any issue.

Thanks

Hi Friends,

As I explained above scenario is like this.

Material is having MRP type X0, SMK  000 and In-house Production time 0 (Zero),

where as Routing is having base qty 1500 KG, as per standard values upto 14000 KG qty planned at Production line in MF50 should give same as Start and Finish date. where as 13000 KG  if we plan on 30.10.2015 then system calculating the dates as start date 29.10.2015 and Finish date 30.10.2015 .

Please let me know your inputs

Thanks

Hi Friends

I got the solution, as in the routing " Capacity view of Operation there was " No overlapping "  check box was set hence system system was taking start date as previous day.

We removed that check box its giving dates as required.

Thanks
