Is there possible to update standard BOM table ??

Hi,

I need to update the UDO table and also that should be effect on standard table.

Is there any possible to do update in standard Bills Of Material (BOM) table .

Hi Saranya,

Go to Production-->Bill of material components management and Use that window to update the BOM.

Note: As per SAP rules,you should not update any standard table externally.So Kindly update the BOM manually , if you want to update more records then use the above solution or use DTW to update the records.

If you post production order then you can't remove that BOM, otherwise you can remove that BOM without any problem.

I believe BOM can be removed at any time, no matter u create production order or not.

Frank you are right..BOM can be removed at any time.I misunderstood the concept.
