Disabling Windows Administrator Account

Dear all,

Initially we have used this Win OS Local Administrator to perform the SAP BOBIP installation to the server.

Now that we want to disable this account but create another admin account for BO due to audit issue.

Will it affect the current deployment?

Min,

It will NOT effect the install.  Many users will use the local Admin account and then update it with a Domain Account after the server joins the Domain.

What you will need to do is configure the new account with local Admin access and NT Service Account Local security settings.    You will also need to update this account to start the SIA.  The best way to test the account is to logon with this account and test that SIA and Tomcat start properly.

Dear Ajay,

About "update this account to start the SIA", how exactly do I update the account because my SIA login is using the Enterprise Login instead of local account.

Do I logon with the account and try to restart the SIA and Tomcat see if these two start up properly?

Thanks,

MC Lee
