What causes the running total to be so off?

I have a column 'standard cost' and I have formula to make QTY * standard cost. then i make runnning total this field. and also tried insert summary but it makes crazy amount, what should be around 20,000 show as 33 million.

The lines showing as group footer lines. group5a and group5b. But I wanted total per each group and they are both off.

Hi Paul,

If you've conditionally suppressed any of your details section, then that could also cause totals to be off.

You'd need to use include the suppression condition in the calculation as well.

You are likely not resetting the running total back to zero correctly. 

In your case it likely needs to be set so that it resets for each Group 5.
