How to Transport Derivation Step - Table Look Up

Hello All Experts,

Need a guidance on one COPA activity.

I have defined one Table Look Up in KEDR and now want to transport it to further QA and Prod Systems. Transporting the Derivation Step as Table Look Up I need to select the step I defined and click on "Truck" icon, is this the only activity I need to perform? Or and dependent activity also needs to be carried out? 

2) Secondly will transport just the move ONLY Table Look Up step I defined or it will transport the whole KEDR Table to further systems ?

Experts guidance will be helpful on this.

Hi Sharvari,

The transport tool can only transport whole derivation strategy.
The transport object KEDR is defined as type CUSY(customizing objects, cross client).
If you transport derivation rules via KEDR, the workbench request does contain the cross-client dictionary entries and the client-dependent customizing entries.

To avoid an overwriting of existing tables for derivation rules, the derivation from 4.0 onwards generates tables with system and client in the name. For each table K9R* the system also creates a program with name RKEK9R*.

Hi Sharvari,

Go to KEDR and select the step which you like to transport.then click on menu EXTRAS-->Transport

This way only selected step is selected and transported.
