Hello Experts

I have a question:

If I use transaction CL24N

Enter a class

Enter a class type  (example class type 300)

Click the Only New Assignments button

Add a material in the material field and click the save button without hitting the enter key first,

Any characteristic(s) within that class that have default values will not be copied.

If I visit the material in change mode (via MM02, classification tab / CL20N or CL24N) the defaults will appear and you must save to keep the default values.

Is this the normal expected behavior?

If this is an issue, I will Report an Incident.

Dan Tobin,

To me its sounds normal , as you haven't press enter  key the default values haven't trigger but your class got assigned to material correctly , now once you go back to material in change mode you will see default values and you have option to save those.
