Solved: ECC 5.0 and Web AS installation

Hello

we installed ECC5.0 on our server, it works!

Then we want to install J2EE engine part by selecting

install Development Worksapce, immediately begin installation, we got such kind of error:

ERROR 2006-02-09 21:49:20

CJS-20003 While adding instance D00: An instance already exists with that number and a different name or SID: ABC/DVEBMGS00.

We have already stopped ECC5.0 before that action.

Is there anybody encounter the same problem before?

How can I continue install Web AS on our ECC5.0?

Hi Kevin,

You just have to give the J2EE engine a different instance number.

anything other than 00 since it is already in use it will create a conflict.

try 01 or 02.

it should work.
