error message in CA03: No classifiable objects defined

Hi PP experts,

When I click the indicator ‘classification’, it will occure an error message "No classifiable objects defined" like below.

Then I displayed the class in t-code CL03 and when I tried again to show the class in t-code CA03 the error disappeared. But if I log-off the SAP GUI, next time the error message will appear again.

Could you please give some advised to solve this issue? Thank you.

Regards,

Steve

    Hi Steve,

Please refer to OSS note 620456 for more details and correction to this issue.

This is due to incosistencies in customizing table (transaction O1CL). In Customizing table TCLT of the classification system, the entries for the classification objects PLPO (Planning item) or STOP (BOM item) may be missing.

    • Hi Steve,

Yes, inconsistency may occur in system due to numerous reasons and since its a standard program error, SAP has released a note to correct. In case you are facing same issue in Development / Sandbox system, then I would recommend you to create the custom report suggested in this note and check if you are resolve the inconsistencies.

      Regards,

      Rohit

    Hello,

    Error message CL 512

A possible root cause of this error is when the entries for PLPO and STPO are missing in customizing table TCLT. You may check it in transaction O1CL or follow the customizing path: Cross-Application Components -> Classification System -> Classes -> Maintain Object Types and Class Types.

    Please refer OSS KBA

1865359 - Error message CL 512 'No classifiable objects defined' appears in transaction CA02 while creating alternative resource classification

You can execute the report Z_UPD_TCLT from OSS note  620456.
