Transport data from PRO to DEV?

Hi experts,

I have a requirement that need transport data from PRO to DEV system. Those data from many Ztables with delivery class 'A'.

As data growth, at anytime i could tranport new data to DEV, so sytem COPY seems not works under this scenario.

And ALE not works, since it is not standard master table, right?

I plan to create a zreport in DEV call a RFC from PRO to get data and modify ztables, not trought TR at all.

Or download data to a file(txt) from PRO, then upload it in DEV.

I know this is not recommand by SAP standard, but user need it. So what i need take care about it?

From security and operation log aspect, give me some opions, thank you very much.

Zhang,

RFC call from Dev to Prod will be questioned during Audit and will be a compliance issue.

Why not COPY the data of these tables at regular intervals from PROD to DEV with the help of Basis team.You can even consider ARCHIVING of these tables as an alternative.

IMHO,taking the Basis team's help will be ideal in this case rather than creating a RFC call from Dev to Prod.Let's see what experts say.

Good day Zhang,

Check if your company has Data Sync Manager which you can use to copy that data from PROD to DEV ask the Basis Team for assistance.
