Hi Experts,
I have an inbound to ECC interface with EOIO quality of service. This EOIO messages sometimes are in error in ECC and need to reside in the queue for more than 1 day (when the error is on weekend and no body is there to handle the error).
There are EOIO error and being hold messages in the SXI_MONITOR (Proxy messages), but somehow when I check the messages in SMQ2, there's no stuck messages for the specific EOIO queue. Why is that? I've once checked this during weekend and the messages can be seen there in the queue (SMQ2), so somehow after a specific of time (maybe more than 1 day) the messages seems to be deleted/removed from the queue.
Is this normal or is there a job to remove the messages from the EOIO queue?
Thank you,
Suwandi C.
Hi Suwandi,
did you know the retention period of a message in your project?
check in sm58 or smq3.

The below link helped me solve the same issue some time ago. I hope it helps you too.
